Hongyuan Zhu

Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR), Singapore

Dr. Hongyuan Zhu is a senior scientist/PI in the Institute of Infocomm Research (I2R), at the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR), Singapore. He is leading the Advanced Perception Reasoning Lab. He received Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), SG, in 2015. His research interests mainly include low-level vision, scene parsing, and video analytics. He is the associate editor of Visual Computer since 2020. He also served as the Session Chair of IJCAI 2018 and PCM 2014, Senior Program Committee of IJCAI 2021, and the Guest Editor of IET Image Processing in 2018. He won the Distinguished Paper award of International Consortium of Chinese Mathmaticians in 2017 and the Top-10% paper award of ICIP2014. Hs has published around 60 top-tier journal and conference papers, such as CVPR, ICML, AAAI, IJCAI, TIP, TNNLS, TMM, etc.



Jingkuan Song

University of Electronic Science and Technology of China

Jingkuan Song is a full professor with University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). His research interest includes large-scale multimedia retrieval, image/video segmentation and image/video understanding using hashing, graph learning and deep learning techniques. He joined Columbia University as a Postdoc Research Scientist (2016-2017), and University of Trento as a Research Fellow (2014-2016). He obtained his PhD degree in 2014 from The University of Queensland (UQ), Australia. He was the winner of the Best Paper Award in ICPR (2016, Mexico), Best Student Paper Award in Australian Database Conference (2017, Australia), and Best Paper Honorable Mention Award (2017, Japan). Jingkuan has served as the Demo Chair of ACM Multimedia Asia 2020, Workshop Chair of ApWeb 2019, and the Area Chairs of ACM MM 2018/2020, ICME 2020, etc. He severs as the Associate Editor for ACM Trans. on Multimedia Computing Communications and Applications. He is also the Guest Editor of IEEE TMM, ACM TDS, PR and he is PC member of CVPR’18-20, MM'18-20, IJCAI'18-20, etc.



Wu Liu

University of Science and Technology of China

Wu Liu is currently a professor of a University of Science and Technology of China, earlier he was a Senior Researcher in JD AI Research, China. His current research interests include human behavior analysis and intelligent video surveillance. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Science in 2015. He has published more than 60 papers in prestigious conferences and journals in computer vision and multimedia. He received IEEE Trans. On Multimedia 2019 Prize Paper Award, IEEE MultiMedia 2018 Best Paper Award, IEEE ICME 2016 Best Student Paper Award, and Chinese Academy of Sciences Outstanding Ph.D. Thesis Award in 2016, etc. He also won the 1st Place in the single and multi-person pose estimation tasks in CVPR 2018 Look into Person Challenge. Dr. Liu is the founding committee member of ACM FCA, and the committee member of IEEE CASS-MSA. He has also served as the Technical Program Chair of ACM MM Asia 2021, Web Chair of ICME 2019, Publicity Chair of BIGMM 2018, and the Area Chairs of ACM MM 2019&2020, ICME 2019, ICIP 2017, etc. Wu Liu also organized the workshop “Human-centric Multimedia Analysis” in ACM MM 2020, the workshop “Human and Vehicle Analysis for Intelligent Urban Computing” in IEEE ICPR 2020, the tutorials “Human Behavior Understanding":" From Human-Oriented Analysis to Action Recognition” in IEEE ICME 2019, the tutorials “Human-centric Visual Understanding” in ACM MM Asia 2019.



Xinchen Liu

JD AI Research, Beijing, China

Dr. Xinchen Liu is a Senior Researcher as JD AI Research. His research interests include human-centric computer vision and its application in retail. He received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2018. He received IEEE Trans. on Multimedia 2019 Prize Paper Award, IEEE ICME 2016 Best Student Paper Award, and Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award of China Society of Image and Graphics in 2019. Dr. Liu has won 1st Place in AI+Person Re-identification Track of National AI Challenge 2020, 2nd Place in Multi-Person Human Parsing Track of CVPR 2019 Look-into-Person Challenge, and 2nd in Single-Person Human Parsing Track of CVPR 2018 Look-into-Person Challenge. He also served as a PC member of ACM Multimedia, AAAI, ICME, etc.



Dingwen Zhang

Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China

Dingwen Zhang is a professor at School of Automation, Northwestern Polytechnical University. He received his B.E. and Ph.D. degrees from the Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China, in 2012 and 2018, respectively. During 2015 to 2017, he worked as a visiting scholar at Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University. His research interests include Computer Vision and Multimedia Processing, especially on saliency detection, semantic segmentation, and weakly supervised learning. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed conference and journal papers, including CVPR, ICCV, IJCAI, AAAI, and IEEE T-PAMI, T-IP, T-NNLS, T-MM, IJCV. He served as a PC member of AAAI, NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, etc. He is also the leading guest editor of IEEE T-CSVT and IEEE T-MM. He is the recipient of the CSIG Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award and ACM China SIGAI Outstanding Doctor Award in 2019. He is also the recipient of the Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher in 2019, 2020, and 2021.



Wenbing Huang

Gaoling School of Artificial Intelligence, Renmin University of China

Wenbing Huang is now a tenure-track associate professor at Gaoling School of Artificial Intelligence (GSAI), Renmin University of China. Before joining GSAI, he worked as an assistant researcher at AIR, Tsinghua University, and senior researcher at Tencent AI Lab. His research focuses on the representation, generation, and decision-making of complex systems driven by geometric deep learning. He has proposed a series of geometric deep learning approaches, with graph neural networks as representatives, effectively realizing the representation and generation of atomistic systems such as chemical molecules, proteins, antibodies, crystals, and the representation and behavior learning of complex systems like embodied intelligent agents, physical environments, and social networks. His achievements have been applied in areas such as AI for Science, robot perception and control, and social network analysis.



Xin Wang

Department of Computer Science and Technology,Tsinghua University

Dr.Xin Wang is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University. He got both of his Ph.D. and B.E degrees in Computer Science and Technology from Zhejiang University, China. He also holds a Ph.D. degree in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University, Canada. His research interests include multimedia intelligence and big data analysis in social media. He has published over 100 high-quality research papers in top conferences and journals including ICML, NeurIPS, IEEE TPAMI, IEEE TKDE, ACM KDD, WWW, ACM SIGIR, ACM Multimedia etc. He is the recipient of 2020 ACM China Rising Star Award and 2022 IEEE TCMC Rising Star Award.
